2012 Mercedes-Benz A-Class
The 2012 A-Class debuting at this week’s Geneva Motor Show is Mercedes-Benz‘s latest entry into the younger, more sporty market that is currently dominated by brands with compact, but fun entry-level models. With modern, clean lines, the A-Class will be available with either a 1.6-liter turbocharged, 4-cylinder gas-burner with 122 horses under the hood or a 1.8-liter turbo-diesel with 109 horses harnessed with a new six-speed manual unit or a seven-speed dual-clutch gearbox. Its exterior and accessories, however, demands its estimated base $40,000 price tag, namely with the first in its class radar-based collision warning system with adaptive brake assist and a sporty body kit with aggressive trim, a new grille, and beautiful rims. Check out more looks at Mercedes-Benz’s ambitious foray into the premium compact segment after the jump.
